In 2020, Discovery Education sought to localise its STEM curriculum for Chinese-speaking students aged kindergarten to elementary level. This required culturally sensitive, age-appropriate localisation — including vocabulary, tone, videos, songs and rhymes — rather than direct translation.
Prestige Network developed a tailored localisation strategy, combining expert linguists, detailed style and tone guidance, and robust QA processes. Prestige Network delivered the project across two phases of approximately 150,000 words each. The work covered digital content, video subtitles and full curriculum localisation.
Through careful planning and workflow management, both phases were delivered on time, to specification, and with consistent quality — enabling seamless integration into Discovery Education’s learning platforms.
